Latham & Watkins has advised L Catterton, a leading global consumer-focused investment firm, on its participation in a £280 million fundraising round for Butternut Box, Europe’s largest fresh dog food brand. L Catterton, an existing investor, participated in the round alongside new investor General Atlantic, a leading growth equity firm. The fundraising will help to further Butternut Box’s presence in Europe and continue its mission to deliver fresh, tasty, and healthy meals to dogs around the world. The transaction's closing is subject to customary regulatory conditions, but is expected to occur in Q4 2023.
