Simpson Thacher is representing an affiliate of Blackstone Capital Partners VI in connection with its acquisition of Intertrust Group (“ITR”). ITR is a global trust and corporate services provider, and is currently controlled by funds advised by Waterland. Simpson Thacher is also representing the buyer on the related financing of the acquisition.

The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2013 following receipt of regulatory approvals.
