Milbank LLP is advising Breakthrough Energy Catalyst on its acquisition of an equity interest in the FlagshipONE project and its related partnership arrangements with Ørsted, the European Commission and the European Investment Bank. Located in Örnsköldsvik in northern Sweden, Ørsted’s FlagshipONE project is anticipated to be Europe’s largest e-methanol plant. The Milbank team was led by Global Corporate/M&A partner and co-head of Milbank’s Global Infrastructure practice John Franchini and Global Corporate/M&A special counsel Ross Shepard, along with associates Alan Wen and Pragyan Patnaik.
