Philipp Girardet, a partner in Willkie’s Antitrust & Competition team in London, has been named to The Lawyer’s ‘Hot 100’ list, celebrating legal professionals working on notable trials and deals. Mr. Girardet has been featured for establishing the firm’s competition team in London as a go-to practice and for his work on high profile deals, including advising FIS on the EU clearance of its $42bn acquisition of World Pay and for Telefonica in the ongoing Phones4U litigation in the UK. This is the latest recognition for Mr. Girardet and the London competition team. In November, the practice was named a Finalist at The Lawyer Awards for competition & Regulatory team of the year and shortlisted for Competition team of the year by Legal Business in September.
